Aroma: Initial aromas of dark berries give way to hints of fig and wild strawberry, spicy notes of allspice and pink and aromatic peppercorn, plus scents of flowery garrigue.

Taste: A powerful and faceted palate with dark, deep, concentrated fruit. Notable tannins and the mouthwatering bitterness of sloe and cranberry are refreshed on the finish with notes of mint and aniseed.

A pairing with Grand Vintage begins with the choice of the main element - meat, fish and vegetables. The secondary ingredient should have flavourful palate to echo the champagnes power. Introduce a hint of spiciness to bring out the notes of red spices on the finish. Always finish by adjusting the salinity to underscore the flavours and highlight the dialogue between the dish and the Grand Vintage Rosé 2015.

Epernay, Champagne France. The 1,190 hectares of rich limestone soil, 50% of which is classed as Grand Cru and 25% Premier Cru, make up the largest vineyard area in Champagne. Underground, the Moët & Chandon cellars are the most extensive in the region. Extending more than 28 kilometres, they form a subterranean labyrinth where the wine metamorphoses under optimum conditions of humidity and temperature.
